Chad Darcy graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2014 where he twice made the dean’s list. He was also recognized by the The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction with a CALI Award for Writing in Law Practice.
He joined Hughes White Colbo Wilcox & Tervooren, LLC, in August 2016.
For nearly nine years, Chad served in the U.S. Marine Corps earning the rank of captain as a Cobra helicopter pilot and joint terminal attack controller (JTAC). Based out of Marine Corps Air Station New River and Camp Lejeune, he served overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and the Middle East.
“My time in the military taught me the importance of the rule of law,” he says. “I decided it was something I wanted to pursue after leaving.”
Chad sees every new case as a puzzle that the law can help him solve. Outside work, Chad enjoys flying, hunting, fishing, eating and hiking with his dogs.
